What Is CJC 12-95

The CJC-1295 has been investigated for the treatment of lipodystrophy and growth hormone deficiency. With a single injection in human subjects, CJC-1295 increases plasma GH levels 2-10-fold for 6 days or longer and plasma insulin-like growth factor-1 levels 1.5-3-fold for 9 to 11 days. CJC-1295 has an estimated half-life of approximately 6 to 8 days in humans (which is significantly prolonged by bioconjugation).

CJC-1295 Dosage

In the scientific study and clinical trial conducted, subcutaneous administration of CJC-1295 in healthy adults (aged 21 to 61 years) was safe and relatively well tolerated, even at doses higher than 30 to 60 mcg/kg : after a single injection of CJC -1295, there were dose-dependent increases in mean plasma GH concentrations of 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or more and in mean plasma IGF-1 concentrations of 1.5 up to 3 times for 9-11 days. The estimated half-life of CJC-1295 was 5.8-8.1 days. No serious side effects were reported in this study. However (in our opinion) since the optimal dose would rather be considered no more than 300-500 mcg of CJC-1295 in a single injection or weekly total.
